FAQ

How do we book?

I require a signed contract, as well as a non-refundable retainer of $1500, both due at the time of booking in order to hold your wedding date. I'll also send you a comprehensive questionnaire that covers your timeline, shot list, vendor list, and so much more. Before this, we'll have a phone call, video chat, or coffee date to talk about your wants and needs!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I require a non-refundable retainer of $1500 to hold your date and will then spread payments across 3-4 installments, depending on your needs.

How many photos can I expect?

While I'd love to send you EVERYTHING, it's important to sift through the imperfect, blinking, and blurred images and not give you a million photos to review. You can expect about 75 photos per hour, between 600-1000 photos in your final gallery.

How long will you keep our photos for?

Your online gallery will remain accessible for one year from the delivery date. While I do my best to keep galleries available for an extended period, I do not offer permanent photo storage. Once the gallery expires, I cannot guarantee that your images will still be available in my archive. I highly recommend downloading and backing up your images as soon as you receive them. I suggest saving them on multiple devices, cloud storage, or an external hard drive to ensure long-term access.

When can we expect our sneak peeks and full gallery?

Your sneak peeks are my top priority following your big day. You can expect to receive 15-30 sneak peeks within 48 hours. Your full gallery can typically be expected within 4-6 weeks. If your wedding is in the middle of my busy season, the expected turnaround time is 6-8 weeks.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! All of my packages include a complimentary engagement session. If you aren't booking your wedding with me, you can still book an engagement session!

If we don't want an engagement session, can our package be discounted?

Unfortunately, no. Your engagement session not only provides you with a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and build connection with me but it also allows me to capture beautiful moments that complement your wedding day story! Therefore, I don't typically offer discounts when the engagement session is declined, as my pricing is structured to provide the best value for our clients.

Will there be a second shooter?

YES! Second shooters are included in every wedding package and are great for capturing groom prep, comprehensive ceremony coverage, and other little moments.

Can you help us plan?

Of course! When it comes to creating your timeline and shot list, I am here to help! Unsure of your color palette, which vendor(s) to use, where your engagement session should be, or if you should do a First Look? We can tackle these questions together.

Do you shoot on film?

While I shoot every wedding on digital cameras, I usually bring at least one film camera with me for fun! Either my 35mm, medium format, or instant film camera will be in my camera case!

Can you change your editing style for us?

My signature style is very light and airy while retaining true colors as much as possible (no oompa loompa skin tones here.) If you seek another editing style, I may not be the photographer for you!

Do you charge a travel fee?

Travel fees apply to events requiring over 2 hours of travel outside of my primary business location of Hewitt, New Jersey. This fee includes travel and accommodation expenses.

Do you have insurance?

Yes! My business is fully equipped with Commercial General Liability, Professional Liability, and Photography Equipment Insurance coverage. Certificates of Insurance can be provided upon request.

Should we leave you a tip?

While tips are never expected (although always appreciated), what I find the most valuable is your honest feedback and taking a second to leave a review! Feedback and reviews are incredibly helpful for small businesses and can encourage future couples like you to work with me!

Can you recommend other vendors to us?

Absolutely! I have a list of preferred vendors I've directly worked with over the last 6 years.
